Toy & Game Artwork
I design dynamic toy and game worlds full of motion and personality.
From stylized vehicle illustrations to expressive logos and crisp retouching, each system is built with detail and consistency—creating visuals that feel powerful, collectible, and unmistakably on-brand.
Project: Hot Wheels Mystery Models
Illustration
I create high energy worlds where toy cars come alive.
For Mystery Models, I build dynamic, collectible-ready artwork and identities that elevate each release.
From concept sketches to packaging ready art, I ensure every piece feels bold, fun, and instantly recognizable—perfect for fans hunting that next ride.
2025 | Series 1: Speedway Showdown
Early sketches and concept layouts established the tone for the series—bold, fast, and full of personality. Each illustration balanced ten unique cars in a compact space, creating a dynamic track environment packed with motion and excitement.
2025 | Series 2: Dust-Up Dystopia
This chapter introduced new car designs, rugged terrain, and stylized effects that pushed the worldbuilding further. Each vehicle needed to feel distinct while still working together in a cohesive, high-impact scene full of dust, heat, and intensity.
2025 | Series 3: Neon Skyline Circuit
With elevated tracks, glowing architecture, and sleek new vehicle styles, this scene brought high-speed chaos into a vertical world. The challenge was creating a dense environment that kept the action clear and every car readable—resulting in a polished illustration ready for packaging, retail displays, and marketing.
2024 | Series 1: Canyon Road Rally
This illustration drops collectors into a dramatic Western landscape—switchback cliffs, elevation shifts, and narrow ledges packed with ten unique diecast heroes. Each car needed a clear moment, silhouette, and attitude while still feeling part of the larger race narrative.
2024 | Series 2: Figure-8 Dirt Derby
This series captures the grit and mayhem of figure-8 racing: collisions, near-misses, tire stacks, flying debris, and dust clouds everywhere. Balancing ten cars in constant motion meant shaping a scene that feels messy in all the right ways: readable, fun, and packed with storytelling beats that reward kids who study every corner.
2024 | Series 3: Fire & Ice Rush
This illustration pushes Hot Wheels into full adventure mode—icy bridges, erupting volcanoes, shattered terrain, and ten cars racing through two clashing environments. Designing the scene required weaving extreme color palettes, hazards, and action cues while keeping every vehicle clear and collectible. It’s bold, imaginative, and built for maximum kid appeal.
Project: Hot Wheels Collectors Nationals
Logo & Illustration
I create city-inspired logos and illustrations that shape the entire Collectors Nationals experience.
Each year, the event gets its own signature look—appearing on exclusive cars, badges, merch, and displays. Whether it’s the rock and roll textures of Ohio, the graffiti meets hip-hop flair of Atlanta, or the riverboat colors of St. Louis, every system is built to celebrate the host city and elevate the collector community.
2023 | Columbus, OH
A bold, rock poster inspired design brought Columbus to life with attitude and energy.
Pulling subtle cues from the nearby Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this pack embraced gritty textures, punchy colors, and a poster-style layout that felt loud, fun, and unmistakably collectible. The goal was to capture the electric spirit of the convention—and the result became a standout piece for trading rooms and display shelves alike.
2024 | Atlanta, GA
A hand-inked, graffiti-driven logo became the hero of Atlanta’s vibrant convention identity.
Rooted in the city’s hip-hop legacy and bold street art culture, this system combined neon color, rhythmic shapes, and a hand inked “Collectors Nationals” mark created from scratch. The look resonated so strongly with fans that merch featuring this artwork sold out quickly, becoming one of the event’s most memorable visual themes.
2025 | St. Louis, MO
A clean, celebratory identity built around St. Louis’ riverfront landmarks and iconic flag color palette.
This design blended the city’s signature red, blue, white, and gold into a bright triadic color system inspired by the St. Louis flag. Riverboats, arch-shaped curves, and flowing linework anchored the theme, creating packaging that felt both local and elevated—perfect for a milestone anniversary year.
